Iceland- Ho!
Well, only three more days until I set forth for the Motherland. Very excited to go to the place of my ancestors and to go somewhere I haven't been before. It's been a long time!! Also very exciting to have an ENTIRE month to produce artwork- what a novelty. I hope it's going to be great. Will keep this updated fairly regularly while I'm away and will perhaps get some pictures up along the way.

What a fantastic idea! I can hardly wait to see photos from your trip posted. I hope you post some of the photos of your homestead origins in Selkirk!
Iceland is a fabulous place to be grounded in geography!

Are you there yet? Are you there yet? I hope the trip out was easy-peasy. I keep trying to guess where you might be. I wonder if she's in Boston now? I wonder if she's enjoying a martini (or a bag of mini pretzels) while flying over the Atlantic? Here's to your first day on that other planet!
