Country 'n' Western

Spent last weekend working on the Booth project with Lindsay. While she captured video footage I took some 4"x5" stills of Marv's restaurant. By far my favourite thing in the restaurant is this jukebox.

I guess the goal is always to embody the mood of the place. The small details where the character shows through. I've always been a contemplative photographer when approaching this subject matter and I think it's related to all my years drinking gut rot coffee in road side diners, staring out the window. We've been interviewing the owners of the restaurants and I think the storytelling will add an important layer to the work.
